Therapy for Women

Support for women navigating life’s transitions, inner complexity, and the desire for something more
“Therapy is not about becoming, it’s about unbecoming all the things you believed you had to be in order to be loved.”
Hillary McBride, PhD
There are seasons in a woman’s life that ask something more of her. Becoming a mother and losing (as well as finding) parts of yourself in the process. Standing at the threshold of a partnership or marriage, or the unraveling of it. Holding it all together on the outside while something inside feels uncertain, overwhelmed, or quietly longing for more.
Many women I work with are strong, capable, and deeply feeling. They’ve learned how to care for others, to adapt, to keep going—but underneath that strength, there’s often a deeper question: Where am I in all of this?
In so many ways, this is part of a larger journey—the kind we see reflected in the myths and stories of women who are asked to leave what’s familiar, face what’s difficult, and come into a deeper relationship with themselves in the process. Not all at once, and not alone—but slowly, with care and intention.
This is a space to set down what no longer fits—the roles, expectations, and patterns you’ve carried for so long—and to reconnect with what feels more honest, grounded, and truly you.
You might recognize yourself here…
You’re carrying a lot internally, even if others don’t fully see it
You’ve stepped into a new role—like becoming a mother—and feel both deep love and a quiet sense of losing parts of yourself
You’re moving through a shift in your relationships—whether that’s marriage, dating, friendship changes, or even the ending of something—and feel untethered or unsure where you stand
You find yourself deeply attuned to others, but unsure how to stay connected to yourself
You give a lot in relationships and sometimes wonder where you end and others begin
You move between feeling capable and grounded, and moments of overwhelm, disconnection, or self-doubt
You’ve done a lot of reflecting or personal work, but still feel stuck in certain patterns—especially in relationships
You long for a way of living and relating that feels more honest, more spacious, and more your own
Making space for what’s been held beneath the surface
As a woman, I know that our lives often hold layers that aren’t always visible from the outside. There can be deep love and deep exhaustion, strength and uncertainty, longing and grief—all existing at once.
That complexity is welcome here. In therapy, we’ll explore your inner world with care and curiosity, making space for the patterns, emotions, and parts of you that deserve attention. My work is relational and depth-oriented, and I integrate approaches like parts work, EMDR, and somatic awareness in a way that feels attuned to your unique needs.
