Until you make the unconscious conscious, it will direct your life and you will call it fate.

My Approach
Moving beneath the surface, to soul.
Greek root of “Psychotherapy”
Psyche (ψυχή): Refers to the mind, spirit, or soul.
Therapeia (θεραπεία): Refers to caring for, curing, or healing.
Psychotherapy is, at its root, care of the soul.
I practice from a psychodynamic, depth-oriented tradition that sees therapy as Soul Care.
Together in therapy, we look beneath the surface of the struggles showing up in daily life and make space for the deeper layers of your inner world. Unlike approaches that focus mainly on quick fixes or linear progress, depth therapy values the integration of all parts of the self.
I deeply believe in honoring each person’s uniqueness, and I prefer to loosen the grip of societal expectations and rigid categories of “typical” and “atypical” functioning. That said, when it’s helpful, I also believe diagnosis can give us a useful framework for understanding certain challenges and guiding us toward the tools that may be most healing.
Therapy approaches that I use:
Modern Psychodynamic
Trauma-Informed Therapy
Attachment-Based Therapy
EMDR Therapy
Parts Work (Internal Family Systems)
Somatic & Experiential Techniques
Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP)
Sandtray Therapy
Spiritual Integration
In my practice, my goal is to help create a space where you feel safe enough to do deep inner exploration while being held with complete care and zero judgment.
Together, we will help you develop practical skills that you can easily use in your real life, we’ll examine and gently shift patterns you’ve gotten stuck in, we’ll envision your future and help steer your ship in that direction, we’ll help you process deep emotion, and most importantly—we’ll help you foster a deep and compassionate connection to your Self.
The “depth” component of the therapy I do looks different from person to person. I love to integrate dream work, art, music, mindfulness, meditation, sand tray, and active imagination, which may involve dialoguing with different parts of you like the inner child or other inner parts (sort of like meeting and talking with the characters from Inside Out- but your own!).
Most importantly, I prefer to work at your pace, allowing things to unfold in their own perfect time. I deeply believe your psyche (soul) has its own wisdom and timing. My job is to listen for that timing, help you stay in the flow with your inner wisdom, and support your path toward healing and growth.
