Frequently Asked Questions

You don’t have to be in crisis to start therapy. Many of the people I work with in San Clemente and across Orange County are thoughtful, self-aware, and still find themselves feeling stuck, caught in anxious thought loops, overwhelmed emotionally, or repeating patterns in relationships that are making things difficult for them.
If something in your inner world feels heavy, confusing, or hard to shift on your own, therapy can help you understand it more deeply and move toward lasting change. -
Therapy with me is warm, collaborative, and depth-oriented. You don’t have to perform or have it all figured out.
I tend to work well with people who feel deeply—people who are intuitive, reflective, and maybe even a little hard on themselves. Together, we slow things down and explore what’s underneath the surface, not just managing symptoms but understanding the patterns, different parts of you, and experiences shaping your life.
I integrate EMDR therapy, parts work (IFS), and somatic awareness to support meaningful, long-term change. -
The first session is a starting point, not a test. We’ll talk through what’s bringing you in, your history, and what you’re hoping for.
It’s very normal if it feels a little vulnerable or unfamiliar at first—most people feel that way. Like any new relationship, it takes a moment to settle in. My role is to help you feel grounded, understood, and not alone in what you’re carrying. -
Yes. I offer EMDR therapy in San Clemente for clients across Orange County. EMDR helps your brain process trauma, anxiety, and distressing experiences so they feel less overwhelming and less tied to your present-day reactions.
I often blend EMDR with a relational and parts-based approach, so we’re not just processing memories, but supporting all parts of you in the process. -
Yes. I work with clients struggling with OCD, intrusive thoughts, compulsive behaviors, and the exhausting cycle of anxiety and reassurance-seeking that often comes with it. OCD can feel confusing and isolating, especially when your mind keeps latching onto the same fears even when part of you knows they don’t make sense.
In therapy, we work to better understand your OCD symptoms while also building your capacity to respond differently to them. I may integrate ERP-informed work, parts work, and deeper relational therapy depending on your needs, so treatment feels both effective and emotionally attuned. -
Yes. I offer sandtray therapy in San Clemente for teens and adults across Orange County. Sandtray can help when emotions, trauma, grief, or identity struggles feel difficult to explain with words alone.
This approach allows deeper themes to emerge through symbols and imagery, making it a powerful tool for insight, emotional processing, and healing. I often integrate sandtray into depth-oriented therapy for clients who want a more experiential and creative way of understanding themselves. -
Yes—I work with both teens and adults in Orange County, and my work with teens is some of my favorite work that I do!
With teens, my focus is on creating a space where they feel safe enough to be real, while also building tools for anxiety, identity, relationships, and life transitions. I collaborate with parents thoughtfully, protecting the teen’s trust while still keeping you meaningfully involved. -
I specialize in trauma, anxiety, OCD, identity exploration, and religious or spiritual wounding.
Many of my clients are deep feelers who experience intense inner worlds—overthinking, emotional overwhelm, or a sense of being “too much” or “not enough” at the same time. Therapy helps make sense of these experiences and shift them in a way that actually lasts. -
I don’t work from a specific faith-based model, but I respect and make space for whatever spirituality or belief system is meaningful to you.
I also have experience supporting clients through faith transitions, deconstruction, and redefining personal values in a way that feels authentic and grounding. -
Most clients begin with weekly therapy sessions. Consistency helps build momentum and allows us to go deeper, rather than staying at the surface.
From there, we can adjust based on your needs, goals, and capacity. -
My fee is $200 for a 50-minute session. I ask for at least 48 hours’ notice for cancellations. Late cancellations or missed sessions are charged the full fee.
If you have questions about scheduling or fit, we can talk through those during your consultation. -
Yes—I offer a free 20-minute consultation so we can connect and get a feel for whether we’re a good fit. You can book directly through my website.

I offer in-person therapy at The Bloom Room in San Clemente, as well as virtual sessions for clients located anywhere in California.
Some clients prefer the grounded, in-person experience, while others appreciate the flexibility of online therapy. We can find what works best for you. -
My office is located inside The Bloom Room in San Clemente, a space created to feel warm, grounding, and a little tucked away from the noise of everyday life. Our space feels much more like a hidden garden oasis than a traditional therapy office. There’s a sense of softness and calm that makes it easier to exhale, settle in, and let your guard down. The intention is for the space itself to support the work—so you feel held not just in the therapy, but in the environment too. We have a great community over here, and would love to welcome you in to it.
